Seeking to improve user experience with PageSpeed Insights

We try to continuously improve our internal systems and processes.

Recently, using Google Developer PageSpeed, we’ve been analyzing this website, www.jbit.com, with the online PageSpeed Insights tool.

PageSpeed Insights analyzes the content of a web page, then generates suggestions to make that page faster. Reducing page load times can reduce bounce rates and increase conversion rates.

It’s well known that Google builds its search algorithms to favor faster loading sites.

So, if we improve our PageSpeed, our website visitors are happier, Google is happier, and both those make us very happy bunnies indeed – win all round. Well, that’s the theory, anyway.

With some relatively quick and painless tweaks, we’ve managed to increase our PageSpeed Score from 62 to 95 (out of 100).
